Capturing Love and Joy: Megan and Victoria’s Magical Wedding Day
As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the privilege of capturing many beautiful moments, but Megan and Victoria’s wedding was truly special. Their big day, held on August 10, 2024, at the Boxcar Bar & Arcade in Greensboro, NC, was a celebration filled with love, laughter, and unique touches that perfectly reflected their personalities and their deep connection.

Megan and Victoria’s story is one that feels almost written in the stars. Both Geminis, their playful and vibrant energy was evident from the first moment I met them. I had the pleasure of attending their Gemini-themed party the previous year, which allowed me to get to know them better and see firsthand how their love for each other shines through in every aspect of their lives.

After their heartfelt ceremony, we ventured to the train tracks behind the bar for a photo session that was both romantic and whimsical. The tracks, with their rustic charm, provided a perfect contrast to the elegance of Megan and Victoria’s wedding attire. Adding to the allure of the backdrop were the vibrant murals painted on the building behind the tracks. Among these murals were striking images, including a tribute to Mac Miller and a vivid depiction of a pitbull, which added a colorful and urban touch to our photos. The murals not only enriched the visual narrative but also mirrored the couple’s dynamic and vibrant personalities.
Fun and Games at the Reception
The reception was a lively celebration of Megan and Victoria’s personalities. One of the highlights was the shoe game—a fun and interactive activity that had everyone laughing. With each question asked, Megan and Victoria had to hold up the shoe of the person they thought was the best fit for the answer.
